About Daily Blind
The daily blind ranking game
Daily Blind is a free game with one new ranking every day. You get five things, like animals by weight, inventions by year or movies by box office, and you rank them from top to bottom. The catch: they arrive one at a time, and you have to lock each one into a spot before you see the next. No take-backs.
How a round works
- Tap Start. The first item appears with a 25-second timer.
- Pick the spot you think it belongs in, #1 to #5, and lock it in.
- Do the same for the next four. Filled spots stay put.
- Final check: if you want, swap any two of your spots once. It's free and you have 25 seconds to decide.
- See the real order, the actual numbers, a fun fact for each item, and how you compare with everyone who played.
Scoring
Each item is worth up to 5 points: 5 for the exact spot, 3 if it's one spot off, 1 if it's two off. A perfect ranking is 25. Your streak, stats and badges are kept in your browser, and the leaderboard shows today's best, this week's totals and the longest streaks.
Daily Blind and themes
The main Daily Blind covers general knowledge: animals, space, geography, history, food, sports, the human body and more. Early in the week is easier; Fridays and Saturdays are the toughest. Themes are bonus daily rankings on one subject. The first is Pop Culture: box office, streams, games, sports stars and social media, ranked by the numbers.
Where the numbers come from
Every ranking is built from public sources such as Wikipedia, box office trackers and official statistics, and each one lists its source and the month its figures were checked. Values are rounded. Some numbers, like box office totals and streams, keep changing, so rankings are refreshed over time. Spotted something wrong? Email hello@dailyblind.io.
Who makes it
