What we collect
- A random player ID. When you first open the game, you are signed in anonymously and given a random ID. It is not linked to your name, email or phone.
- Your game results. For each day you play, we save which spot you put each item in, your score and the time you finished. This powers the crowd comparison and the leaderboard.
- A nickname, if you choose one. It is shown publicly on the leaderboard. Please don't use your real full name.
What stays on your device
Your streak, stats, badges, archive and settings (sound, vibration) are kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data removes them, along with your player ID.
Services we use
- Supabase stores player IDs, results and nicknames.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and may log basic technical data such as IP address and browser type to keep it running and secure.
We do not use advertising, analytics trackers or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your data for marketing.
Who can see what
Nicknames, scores and placements are public to other players through the leaderboard and crowd stats. If you don't choose a nickname, your scores can still appear on the leaderboard without a name, and your placements count anonymously toward crowd stats.
Children
Daily Blind is meant for players 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has set a nickname, contact us and we will remove it.
Your choices
You can stop playing at any time. To have your results and nickname deleted, email hello@dailyblind.io with your nickname, and we will remove them. Residents of places such as California, the EU and the UK may have additional rights to access or delete their data; the same email works for those requests.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
